St Dominique’s Church was built on a little island separated from the market square by the old Romanesque chapel, elements of which were reused.

The church grew over the years; in 1490 a chancel was added, in 1467 a third chapel, and in 1535 the addition of a bell tower necessitated a complete renovation of the façade.

Notable Features inside the Church
The 17.5m transept with its Romanesque columns and decorated capitals.
The bosses on the transept crossing and south arm of the transept.
The rose windows decorating the arched entrance to the chapels.
