The Cafés and Fare of the Region® (Cafés et Assiettes de Pays®) are identification labels implemented by the Aquitaine tourist region, with the support of the Regional Council of Aquitaine.

What is a Café of the Region®?
Cafés of the Region® are run by men and women who want to make their establishment a window of this region’s ambiance. In love with regional products, with a passion for local history and traditions, they know their locale and like to speak about it with regular customers as well as with passing visitors.

What is the Fare of the Region®?
The Fare of the Region® is special dishes, salty, sweet or sweet-salty, made of regional products from local producers or regional companies, mostly cottage industries.
It is a way to discover the region’s culinary specialties, from first course to dessert. It is always accompanied by a glass of wine or other local drink. Its price varies from 4 to 10 € for sweet dishes and from 10 to 15 € for mixed and salty dishes (recommended prices).
