SMICTOM is a syndicate which groups together 36 communes spread over the cantons of Beaumont du Périgord, Le Bugue, Le Buisson de Cadouin, Lalinde, St Alvère and St Cyprien.

Collection of Household Refuse
SMICTOM collects residual household refuse (black bin bags) and its recyclable packaging material (yellow bin bags). The collection is undertaken by SMICTOM’s staff equipped with the syndicate’s material, namely four refuse skips. The 7800 household served by SMICTOM are provided with yellow bin bags and leaflets indicating what can and cannot be recycled.
The yellow bin liners and the leaflets on recycling are available at the local town hall.
