The canton of
Cadouin would like visitors to be able to take advantage of its
main attractions during the course of their holidays.

A fantastic historical heritage
: the Cistercian abbey of Cadouin (listed as a World Heritage
Site), the bastide of Molières, the medieval village of Urval,
and the charming, Périgourdin rural architecture seen throughout
the region.
•
A beautifully preserved natural
environment
: from the chalk
cliffs of the Dordogne valley
to the wooded slopes of the Bessède ; the surrounding
countryside is as varied as it is beautiful.
Come discover the
caves of Maxange,
caverns that are exceptional because of their concretions,
which are sizeable and of high quality. You will see classic
stalactites and stalagmites, but, above all, the eccentric
cyrstallised panels, which are ablsolutely remarkable. The
density and quality of this type of concretion make a rare
group in this cavern.

: the beaches of the Dordogne River, canoeing, archery,
tennis, hiking trails and walks (9 circuits covering 120km to
be followed on foot, horseback or mountain-bike).
