Within the
Périgord, the Dordogne and the Vézère valley have sheltered
mankind since prehistoric times.
These early inhabitants ceaselessly enhanced and enriched their
surrounding. Having adorned their caves with striking murals, in
later centuries they built imposing chateaux and villages
embellished by the golden colour of the local sandstone.
We in turn have also benefited from this attractive heritage and
have endeavoured to create our camping amidst these lovely
surroundings, without impinging of the beauty of the countryside.
All our sites are individually delimited and shaded.
Ramblers also have access directly from our campsite to an
established system of footpath traversing the outlying
countryside…
