St Alvère in the Périgord :
the first truffle market
in France to have gone
on-line !

Kyriad ! A window onto new horizons...

Of interest :
The hotel is in the ‘Périgord Pourpre’ (so-called because of the abundance of vineyards) region of the Périgord (land of ‘Jacquou le Croquant’) ideally situated for tasting the famous red wines of Bergerac and Pécharmant and the sweet, honeyed white wine of Monbazillac (5min from the hotel) which go so well with foie gras, preserved duck (‘confit’) and duck breast (‘magret’). Gabare trips up the Dordogne River (the «River of Hope») can be had from Bergerac quayside in the old town. Only an hour’s drive away are the caves of Lascaux, Les Eyzies and Sarlat (in the ‘Périgord Noir’).

Worth visiting : the Tobacco Museum, Monbazillac Château (Renaissance) and 30min away, the Château de Montréal (on the way to Mussidan).

The hotel is situated in a ‘Leisure Zone’: bowling, crazy golf and a water centre 200m from the banks of the Dordogne River.
