Guests are given
a warm welcome to the ‘chambres d’hôtes’ (B+B) and the calm of
the countryside is much appreciated. The farm auberge or
hostelry specialises in Périgourdin cooking and meals are made
with authentic farm produce.
The auberge proposes three
menus at 22€, 27€, 34€ which include different specialities : paté and foie gras,
preserved duck confit, duck magret grilled over an open fire,
coq au vin, chicken stew, stuffed chicken, walnut cake and
fruit; all prepared with the greatest respect for tradition. The
food is accompanied by (in order) dry white Bergerac, Jolibois
Rosé, Bergerac Red, a Côtes de Montravel which is ideal with
dessert, and the gastronomic meal closes on a sparkling wine
guaranteed to add a further note of joy to those who make the
detour to our farm. |
