Guests are welcome to use a garden
area with barbecue, garden furniture and parasol (the area is
not enclosed).
In terms of leisure activities, Bergerac is well provided for:
swimming pool, 7-screen cinema, boat trips down the Dordogne,
many cultural events, fishing, lots of places to visit nearby:
• The vineyards of Bergerac and Monbazillac, a 10-minute drive
• Saint Emilion, a 45-minute drive
• The Atlantic coast: Arcachon, Dune du Pyla, a 2-hour drive
• Bordeaux, a 1h15-drive
• All of the Périgord with its plethora of historical sites: Les
Eyzies, Cro-Magnon Man,
• The Lascaux Cave Paintings, St Christophe Caves, Sarlat, Le
Bugue Aquarium, Beynac
Sports include tennis, canoeing, golf, rambling, horse-riding
and many places to swim.
The Périgord boasts an enormous number of château and sites of
historical interest to visit.
A large pile of leaflets and tourist information is left in the
cottage to enable guests to take full advantage of their
holiday.
