Auberge de La Salvetat – a
tranquil 3 star hotel/restaurant in the Bessède forest between
Cadouin and Belvès
Auberge de La Salvetat, built around a former presbytery, is a
place of tranquility and beauty. It is situated just outside
Cadouin with its famous Cistercian abbey, a UNESCO site, in a
green paradise of old pasture, mature Bessède forest woodland
and a large natural garden planted with trees and shrubs.
The Auberge is a charming 3 star,
3 chimney Logis de France hotel with 14 pretty ensuite bedrooms,
some air-conditioned, with a restaurant offering a classic fine
dining experience but in a light, relaxing and welcoming way.
The romantic restaurant decorated with subtle colours has a
huge open log fire in the cooler months and in summer guests
dine on the pretty shaded planted terrace with panoramic views
over the open countryside.
Ann and Fabien devise seasonal
menus using fresh, local produce wherever possible. All
dishes are home-made in our kitchen and offer a mix of
traditional and modern cuisine with vegetarian options.
So, whether you want to see the sights, get in some golf,
walking, cycling or canoeing, or simply just get away from the
hustle and bustle then why not experience the charm of a
traditional family run hotel La Salvetat style.
